Huw discovered the pleasure of making pottery at evening classes. In 1979 he moved to Shrewsbury to attend art college. Since then he has been working from his studio on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, designing and making beautiful, functional pottery, as well as teaching at a local college.
Most of Huw's pots are containers for plants or flowers and are collected by flower arrangers and designers throughout the British Isles, including those arranging in the Ikebana style. He also makes a range of bowls, vases and candlesticks glazed in a distinctive 'bronze/gold' glaze.
Huw is regularly invited to exhibit at both the Chelsea flower show and the Hampton Court Palace flower show. Health and Harmony is therefore delighted to offer Huw's pots online. See his work at the Pottery section of our our catalogue.
